Artist Statement
After trading in her slab roller and kiln for a pasta machine and an oven, Debo started on a self proclaimed happy accidental journey using polymer clay in a new and exciting way. She is completely self taught and not knowing the rules allowed her to think of polymer clay as fabric that is to be cut and applied to a base. She combines infinite numbers of colors and patterns to create the paintings. she takes her inspiration from the birds,dogs, and occasional human that inhabit her backyard.
